Smart Holidays: an international educational programme
Project challenges
Creating a sustainable international environment where children can connect across cultures, develop communication and teamwork skills through educational and creative programmes, build trust and mutual understanding, and realise their creative and personal potential.
Key challenges:

Ensuring the safe and well-organised participation of children from neighbouring countries – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan – in Russian children’s camps.

Arranging seamless travel for underage participants, including document preparation, route planning, border-crossing checks, group supervision and continuous communication with the children and their parents.

Creating a comfortable educational and leisure environment that fosters intercultural dialogue and children’s shared development while meeting all safety requirements.

Presenting Russia as an open and welcoming country by creating an atmosphere of trust, shared initiatives and positive communication, helping to build a lasting positive image of the Russian Federation among children and their families from partner countries.
Implementation

The project team handled all organisational arrangements for children from overseas to attend sessions at two Russian children’s camps.

The team prepared the required certificates and other documents, coordinated travel logistics, monitored border formalities and arranged group travel for the participants.

The team maintained regular communication with the children and their parents throughout every stage of the project.

We coordinated a leisure programme that provided participants with a comfortable, safe and stimulating environment for international interaction.
Results

Fifty children from neighbouring countries took part in sessions at two leading Russian children’s camps.

The project team created a safe and comfortable environment for international interaction among children within a shared educational and creative programme.

The organisers provided comprehensive travel and organisational support for underage international participants, creating a model for future camp sessions and projects.

The project strengthened trust in and positive attitudes towards Russia through participants’ first-hand experience of the country, shared educational and creative programmes, and open, respectful communication between the children and their Russian hosts.
