International Fishing Tournament
Project challenges
Drawing international attention to environmental safety in the construction and operation of complex technological facilities through the accessible, engaging format of an international fishing tournament. Strengthening trust in Russian technology.
Key challenges:

bringing professional anglers and media representatives from seven countries into a shared communications agenda promoting an environmentally responsible approach and greater interest in Russian technology;

holding the tournament to international standards with a professional judging panel;

creating a comfortable and respectful environment for participants with different cultural backgrounds, traditions and communication expectations, fostering open international dialogue and positive perceptions of Russian technology.
Implementation

We organised an international fishing tournament in waters near the site of a technological facility under construction, providing all the necessary infrastructure and participant services.

We ran the tournament to international professional standards, appointing judges and referees, developing the regulations, forming teams and creating a coherent event identity.

We engaged independent environmental experts to explain how the technological solutions affected the region’s environment, linking the competition with a substantive environmental focus.
Results

Seven international teams from Hungary, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Türkiye and Indonesia took part, strengthening the project’s role as an international platform connecting Russian technology with environmental issues.

The project reached more than 15 million people, drawing further attention in international media and professional communities to Russian technological solutions and approaches to environmental safety.

The combination of competition, expert environmental content and direct international engagement increased participants’ and spectators’ interest in Russian technology and their trust in it.
